AWANA, Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, is taken from II Timothy 2:15, where the Apostle Paul says “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” This is exactly what the AWANA program is all about. The main focus is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
