A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR:

UPDATE MAY 24th:

BEGINNING NEXT SUNDAY MAY 31st, WE WILL ATTEMPT TO HOLD OUR MORNING SERVICE INSIDE THE FAMILY LIFE CENTER (GYM). THE BUILDING IS LARGE ENOUGH TO PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING WHILE BEING ABLE TO WORSHIP IN AN AIR CONDITIONED BUILDING OUT OF THE HEAT!

THIS IS THE ONLY CHANGE TO THE ITEMS MENTIONED BELOW.

An update from the Pastor (April 23):

Dear Church family,
During the Coronavirus (covid-19) that we are experiencing here in South Carolina we are adjusting our regular routine. For those of you who are hunkering down as I have heard it being said I totally respect, support your decision and love you. If you need anything at all during this time please call the church office or my cell phone. We do have a food pantry if you have a need please let us know. We can deliver also.
We are cancelling all children’s & youth’s programs and all Sunday school classes. The choir will not be singing or practicing for the foreseeable future. No other buildings will be open. No nursery will be provided.

Basically all activities are temporarily cancelled.

Here is what we plan to do:

  • Wednesday we will open the Sanctuary from 4pm until 7:30pm. I will be there at 7 if anyone has prayer requests.
  • Weather permitting, we are going to do our best to have our Sunday service (11am) in the parking lot. A PA system will be set-up so those in the parking lot can hear, Sharon will play a keyboard, we will sing a few congregational hymns and have a soloist. For those who want, you can bring lawn chairs or you can choose to stay in your vehicle. If the weather is not cooperative, we will move this service inside.
  • We will have a Sunday evening worship service (6pm) in the sanctuary for those that want to attend.

Watch for updates to these plans via Facebook and/or phone the office if questions.

I know that many of you may not be comfortable sitting inside the sanctuary. As I stated earlier, I totally respect and support your decision.

The Sanctuary (bathrooms, doors, pews, etc.) will be disinfected before & after any & all services. Hand sanitizer is provided. Be mindful of those around you and practice social distancing.

We stream video for our Sunday 11am service on our Facebook website (a link is provided on the last page of this website) and if services are held indoors, we will have the audio uploaded to our website as soon as possible.
We will do our best to keep you informed as we go forward. Please be in prayer for our families and our nation and remember our resurrected Lord during this time.
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Isa. 26:3
I am praying for each of you,

Pastor Bill
